Participate in SUMMER FUN by reading, filling out your BINGO card & reading tracker in English or Spanish, and attending our virtual programs. Participants who complete SUMMER FUN by filling out the online Achievement Form will be entered in a prize drawing.

• Growing Mushrooms on Coffee Grounds and More: Learn basic fungal ecology and life cycles before diving into cultivation basics. Learn easy mushroom-growing techniques like inoculating coffee grounds, paper waste, and straw in reused containers.
• Rainbeauxs and Microphones - Amplifying Trans and Queer Voices in Louisiana: Oral history practitioners will talk about their work, share examples from interviews, and discuss the importance of collecting the queer and trans voices of Louisiana and beyond.
• Wine and Design: Learn how to paint simple animal portraits in a fun, relaxing environment- no critics, just fellow artists and friends. Bring your own wine. Art kits are available to all participants.
