Poster Design Contest for Students

Description

Age Categories:
• Pre-K– 6th Grade
• 7th –12th Grade

Prizes:
• 1st Place Prize - $100 Gift Card
• 2nd Place Prize - $50 Gift Card
• 3rd Place Prize – $25 Gift Card

All entries will be judged on creativity, artistic merit, and best representation of the 2018 Black History Month theme: African Americans in Times of War

Winning posters will be will be displayed at all 14 Library locations throughout Black History Month. Copies of the winning posters will be given to winners and their schools.

Entry Deadline: Friday, January 19, 2018 at 12pm

Must be 18 years old or younger, live in Orleans Parish, and be currently enrolled in a public or private school or actively home-schooled to participate. For more information, including contest rules and prizes, or to download the entry form, click here.
